GEOS 360 - Structural Geology

Study of faulting, folding, mechanics of rock deformation and structural techniques. Principles of plate tectonics and mountain building. Lecture and laboratory with required 2-3 day field trip. Prerequisite: GEOS 301 - Field and Analytical Methods I and GEOS 305 - Minerals and Rocks. Offered yearly, typically fall semester.
