EL 780 - Practicum

(3 S.H.)

Students will function in an administrative capacity under an experienced administrator with supervision by the Department of Educational Leadership. EL 704 - Supervision and Curriculum Development: An Action Research Approach  must precede or accompany the practicum for aspiring principals. For aspiring superintendents, Education Leadership EL 627 - School Business Management  or EL 628 - Human Resources and Collective Bargaining  must precede or accompany the practicum; EL 604 - Curriculum Planning, Development, and Diverse Learners  and/or EL 622 - The Principalship  is recommended. P/NC only.
