MCOM 480 - Campaigns


(3 credits)

Students apply advertising and public relations theory and processes in practical, hands-on assignments that require analysis, the creation of planning strategies, and the facilitation and execution of multi-media advertising and public relations activities based on specific objectives. Includes practical campaigns for real-world clients. Prerequisites for MCAD majors: MCOM 360 - Advertising Copy Writing , MCOM 361 - Advertising Media Planning & Buying , MCOM 362 - Advertising Design . Prerequisites for MCPR majors: MCOM 345 - Public Relations Writing , MCOM 346 - Public Relations Techniques and Strategies . Instructor permission required. Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
