NURS 487 - NCLEX Preparedness


(2 credits)

This course explores and analyzes question formats commonly found in the NCSBN’s NCLEX test. Students will examine and implement clinical judgement skills needed to successfully answer a variety of question styles throughout the clinical judgement process - gathering cues, analyzing cues, finding the biggest problem(s), planning, intervening, and evaluating nursing actions. Prerequisites: △ NURS 426 - Clinical Prevention and Population Health I  and NURS 443 - Professional Practice III . Corequisite: NURS 453 - Professional Practice IV . Grade or P/NC. Offered each semester on Winona and Rochester campuses.
