PESS 251 - Sports Science is waived for students taking △ HERS 340 - Physiology of Exercise .
PESS 300 - Motor Learning and Development is waived for physical education majors (part of the major curriculum).

Additional Considerations:

Prerequisites: PESS 235 - Principles of Coaching , PESS 280 - Psychology of Physical Activity and Sport , HERS 291 - Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries , and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Academic Requirements: Evidence of current CPR/First Aid certification required prior to practicum. Grade of “C” or above required in all coaching minor courses.
