△ NURS 443 - Professional Practice III (5 S.H. practicum)
This clinical course focuses on providing nursing care to individuals, families, and populations in a variety of settings, to include but not limited to schools, hospitals, clinics, simulations, and the community. It emphasizes evidence-based practices, clinical prevention and population health of families and populations and the management of acute and chronic conditions within these populations. Prerequisite: NURS 352 - Caring for the Older Adult , △ NURS 353 - Professional Practice II , ◆ NURS 354 - Leadership in Research and Evidence-Based Practice , NURS 358 - Psychosocial Adaptation . Pre/Co-requisites: NURS 421 - Nursing of Childbearing Families , NURS 422 - Nursing of Childrearing Families , NURS 426 - Clinical Prevention and Population Health I .
