Introductory discrete mathematics including symbolic logic, elementary number theory, sequences, sets, relations, functions, and recursion. Valid and invalid argument forms are studied, and direct and indirect methods of proof are introduced. Prerequisite: MATH 242 - Linear Algebra. Grade & P/NC.
