△ HERS 350 - Program Planning in Health Promotion


(3 S.H.)

This is a practical course in which students are responsible for undertaking needs assessment research and developing a health promotion program in collaboration with a local business or agency. The course enables students to apply the knowledge and experience gained in lower level courses to real world problems and to further develop their health promotion/health communication skills. Prerequisites: ✽ HERS 204 - Personal & Community Health  and ENG 111 - College Reading and Writing . Health Promotion: School Health and Public Health Majors only: HERS 288 - Health Perspectives . Grade only. Offered every semester.
