The focus of this course is the ideology and content of social welfare policy, the process by which it is developed, its implications for social work practitioners at all levels, and methods of affecting change. Prerequisites: Admission to the social work major and successful completion of △ SOCW 380 - Social Welfare Policy. Grade only. Offered each semester on the Winona and Rochester campuses.
