HLA 301 - Statistical Thinking for Healthcare


(3 S.H.)

An introductory course of statistical applications to the health sciences. Descriptive statistics, sampling, techniques of estimation, and hypothesis testing are included. The understanding of statistical applications as presented in health science research will be emphasized. Prerequisites: General education math requirement, HLA 300 and Admission to the HLA program, or instructor permission and HLA Program Director notification. Grade only. Note: Effective Spring 2015.
