SPED 554 - Early Childhood Special Education Field Experience


(3 S.H.)

This course is designed for teacher candidates of special education: early childhood. The course will focus on the application of the standards of effective practice in teaching children with developmental delays or disabilities or medical conditions through a variety of early and ongoing clinical experiences with infants, toddlers, and preprimary children across a range of service delivery models. May also be taken for undergraduate credit as SPED 454. See Undergraduate Catalog. Prerequisites:  ,  , SPED 550 - Early Childhood Special Education Foundations , SPED 551 - Early Childhood Special Education Assessment, Planning, & Placement  and SPED 552 - Early Childhood Special Education Instructional Design & Implementation . Offered one semester each year at WSU-Rochester. Grade only.
