PSY 520 - Abnormal Psychology

The origins, development, and treatment of abnormal behavior. Topics include mood, anxiety and schizophrenic disorders, as well as selected topics, which may include somatoform and dissociative disorders, lifespan related disorders, substance use disorders, organic disorders, psychological aspects of illness, and prevention. May also be taken for undergraduate credit as PSY 420. See Undergraduate Catalog. Prerequisites: PSY 210 and 3 additional semester hour credits in psychology. (See Undergraduate Catalog.)
