MIS 372 - Management of Business Systems Development


(3 S.H.)

An introduction to business systems development concepts and methodologies from the project management approach. The course covers a variety of business systems development topics including how to view a firm as a system, IT infrastructure, project management, systems development stages, process modeling, data modeling, object modeling, and design pattern with the latest design tools. Prerequisites for College of Business BS majors and minors: Admission to the College of Business,  ,  , and  . Prerequisites for all other majors and minors: Junior standing, CS 234 - Algorithms and Problem-Solving I , MIS 342 - Advanced Business Computer Applications , MIS 362 - Management Information Systems , and instructor’s permission. Grade only. Offered fall semester.
