A sequence of courses stressing modern analytical chemistry. A study of the theory and practice of the quantitative examination of chemical systems. CHEM 425 - Analytical Chemistry I  covers volumetric and fundamental visible spectrophotometric methods. CHEM 426 covers the instrumental methods of UV-vis, emission, and AA spectroscopy, electrical methods, and gas and liquid chromatography. Prerequisites for CHEM 426: CHEM 425 - Analytical Chemistry I  and ◆ CHEM 412 - Physical Chemistry I . Offered annually.
