CAST 477 - CAST Capstone Experience


(3 S.H.)

This course is a field experience designed to allow students to apply their Child Advocacy Studies course content to a professional experience of individuals and organizations seeking to advocate for healthy children and families. Students will complete 120 hours in an arranged, supervised, and professional organization. Required prerequisites: CAST 301 - Perspectives on Child Maltreatment and Child Advocacy ,   and be a declared CAST minor. Recommended prerequisites: CAST 401 - Professional and System Responses to Child Maltreatment  & CAST 402 - Responding to the Survivor of Child Abuse and Survivor Responses . Co-requisite: CAST 478 - CAST Capstone Seminar . P/NC only.
