Focuses on assessment and evidence-based practices to assess protective and predictive factors that influence the health of individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations. Public health concepts are introduced along with population-focused interventions. Prerequisite: admission to the RN-BS Completion Program. Co-requisites: ◆ NURS 375 - Research and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice, NURS 415 - Concepts in Professional Nursing, & NURS 435 - Holistic Assessment. Grade only.
