Major physiological systems of the human body and their responses to acute and chronic exercise. Energy systems of exercise, physiological support systems, exercise prescription, and methods of physical training are addressed. Lecture and lab. Prerequisite: BIOL 211 - Anatomy and Physiology I and BIOL 212 - Anatomy and Physiology II with C grade or better; and ENG 111 - College Reading and Writing. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required to enroll in this course. Grade only. Offered each semester.
