◆ PHYS 430 - Electromagnetic Theory I


(3 S.H.)

This course covers the following topics: electrostatics including Gauss’s law, magnetostatics including Ampere’s law, electrodynamics, introduction to electromagnetic fields, and applications involving electromagnetic waves. Prerequisites: PHYS 202 - General Physics II  or PHYS 222 - University Physics II  and ◆ MATH 313 - Differential Equations . Grade or P/NC. Offered alternate years.
