EDFD 420 - Classroom Management

This course provides students with the knowledge, skill, and understanding of preparing a safe environment for all learners. In particular, the impact of strategies on managing children within an educational setting. This course has field experience hours within local school districts. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education, EDFD 400 - Human Development and Learning, and EDFD 460 - Multicultural Youth, Children, & Families Part I. Corequisite: ◆ EDFD 440 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. Grade only. Offered each semester.
