◆ FILM 450 - Topics/Problems

Advanced studies of a specific topic or problem in film and media studies, such as those concerning technology, authorship, adaptation, intertextuality, interpretation, hermeneutics, etc. with the individual topic(s) announced in the course schedule. Weekly screenings and substantial research required. Prerequisites: FILM 140 - Approaches to Film , FILM 240 - Film Genres , or instructor’s permission. Grade only. Offered annually. May be repeated as topics change.
