SPED 550 - Early Childhood Special Education Foundations


(2 S.H.)

This course is designed for teacher candidates of special education: early childhood. The course will focus on the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and history and context of developmental delays and disabilities and medical conditions as a foundation on which to base practice. May also be taken for undergraduate credit as SPED 450. See Undergraduate Catalog. Prerequisites: SPED 500 - Education of Exceptional Children/Youth  and SPED 505 - Student Management Systems . Grade only. Offered annually on Rochester campus.
