An introduction to current concepts and practices in design. Techniques, layout and the elements of print design (i.e. type, color, grid) are examined. Fundamentals, skills and creative thinking are raised to a new level through problem solving projects and collaboration. Prerequisites: ART 118 - Drawing I and ART 243 - Typography. Grade only.
