This course offers advanced study of a specific topic within language and discourse. Possible topics include language and social context, language and culture, rhetorical theory, classical rhetoric, and others. Variable content: semester schedule announces each section’s focus. Prerequisites: ENG 111 - College Reading and Writing. Grade or P/NC. Offered every third semester. May be repeated as topics change.
