◎ NURS 454 - Immersion in Nursing Practice: Senior Capstone

(4 S.H. practicum)

Synthesis course encapsulating the essence of the baccalaureate nursing role. Students consolidate their understanding of evidence-based, quality and safe nursing care. They will collaborate within clinical settings to improve systems and patient outcomes. Prerequisites: △ NURS 426 - Clinical Prevention and Population Health I , △ NURS 443 - Professional Practice III , and NURS 446 - High Acuity/Progressive Care . Corequisites: NURS 427 - Clinical Prevention and Population Health II , NURS 444 - Leadership in Contemporary Health Care Settings , NURS 453 - Professional Practice IV , and NURS 458 - Complex Mental Health Care . Grade only. Offered each semester.
