HLA 415 - Grant Writing


(3 S.H.)

An examination of the skills required to locate funding opportunities and write and submit grant applications and reports for health promotion and education programs. The course is designed to help students gain experience and practice in finding grant money and applying for grants to undertake community health projects. Prerequisites: Admission to HLA major, HLA 300 - Foundations of Healthcare and Online Learning , and HLA 310 - Fundamentals of Health and Wellness . Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester).
