BIOL 118 - Biology for a Changing World with Laboratory

A course that provides an introductory biology experience for non-science majors. A primary focus is deeper understanding of how and why biology is relevant to everyday life. Lecture and laboratory. Meets GOAL 3. Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester). Note: Students may elect to take the course with lab (BIOL 118, 4 S.H., lecture completely online with required weekly face-to-face laboratory sessions) or lecture only (BIOL 119, 3 S.H., lecture completely online with no required synchronous meetings) but cannot earn credit for both courses.
