Includes detailed discussions of membrane preparation, membrane components, membrane carbohydrates, membrane transport, and membrane bioenergetics. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisites: △ BIOL 308 - Cell Biology, ◆ BIOL 310 - Genetics, BIOL 312 - General Ecology, and CHEM 340 - Organic Chemistry Survey. Grade or P/NC. Offered when demand warrants.
