△ MIS 482 - Management of Information Technology

This course introduces students to the current issues in information technologies and practices. Different methods of dealing with the issues involved are discussed. Various systems in information technology are presented. The importance of management control is emphasized and multinational IT are covered. Prerequisites for College of Business majors and minors: Admission to College of Business, △ MGMT 325 - Organizational Dynamics  or ◆ MGMT 334 - Operations Management , MIS 362 - Management Information Systems , and any 300/400-level MIS course. Prerequisites for non-College of Business majors and minors: Junior standing, △ MGMT 325 - Organizational Dynamics  or ◆ MGMT 334 - Operations Management , MIS 362 - Management Information Systems , any 300/400-level MIS course, and instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually.
