PESS 434 - Adapted Physical Education Practicum

This practicum experience is required for all DAPE Minor students who seek MN DAPE licensure. DAPE Minor students apply standards of effective practice through active participation in school-based DAPE service delivery practicum at elementary and secondary grade levels. Students will experience a wide range of service delivery models used in DAPE programs. Prerequisites: PESS 237 - Introduction to Adapted Physical Education, PESS 447 - Assessment & Program Evaluation in Adapted Physical Education, PESS 457 - Teaching Methods of Adapted Physical Education, & admission to Teacher Education Program or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered fall, spring, and summer terms.
