STAT 440 - Epidemiology

A general introduction to the concepts and methods of epidemiology as they are applied in a variety of disease situations. Topics include modeling the disease process in a population; retrospective, prospective, and observational studies; rates, ratios, and data interpretation; and evaluation of epidemiological information. Prerequisite:   or ◆ ECON 322 - Intermediate Statistics for Business and Economics  or PSY 331 - Advanced Research Methods and Analysis in Psychology . Grade only. Offered when demand warrants.
