STAT 440 - Epidemiology

A general introduction to the concepts and methods of epidemiology as they are applied in a variety of disease situations. Topics include modeling the disease process in a population; retrospective, prospective, and observational studies; rates, ratios, and data interpretation; and evaluation of epidemiological information. Prerequisite:
