A practical and theoretical approach to public expenditures. The theory of public goods; use of benefit-cost analysis; analysis of major spending programs; and the effect of the deficit on economic activity. Prerequisites: ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics and ECON 202 - Principles of Macroeconomics or instructor’s permission. Grade or P/NC.
