CPES 449 - Middle School Field Experience

The purpose of this course is the exploration of middle level education to include adolescent development and learning, curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessments within the middle level classrooms and schools. Required 30 field experience hours. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education; ◆ EDFD 440 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: Early Childhood and Elementary or ◆ EDFD 441 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: K-12 and Secondary. Corequisite: △ EDFD 449 - Middle Level Philosophy, Organization and Interdisciplinary Planning. P/NC only. Offered each semester.
