CME 281 - Properties of Materials Laboratory

A lecture-laboratory course. Construction of crystal models, determination of tensile, hardness, microhardness, microscopic, corrosion, and electrochemical properties of metallic materials. X-ray powder diffraction for chemical identification of metallic materials. Prerequisites: ENG 111 - College Reading and Writing  and CHEM 213 - Principles of Chemistry II . Pre/corequisite: CME 280 - Properties of Materials . Grade only. Offered alternate years (usually spring semester).
