MSW 637 - Professional Development Project-III (0-1 S.H.)
This is the penultimate course in a multi-course sequence that provides students opportunities to assess their professional social work knowledge, skills, values, and cognitive and affective processes. Students discriminate their strengths from areas in which they need more growth and development. Students compare their current assessment with a previous one and identify contributions that their coursework and other academic activities have contributed to change. They evaluate future learning opportunities in terms of how these opportunities may help them achieve their academic and professional goals. Students work closely with their instructor throughout these processes. Students demonstrate their learning and professional growth through their preparation of a professional development project. Prerequisite: MSW 538 - Professional Development Project II or MSW 636 - Professional Development Project Introduction , or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered each semester as needed.
