◎✪ SOC 378 - Intermediate Social Research


(3 credits)

This course provides students a hands-on experience in the design, implementation, interpretation, and reporting of an applied social research project. This course focuses on practicing social research methods in a real-world setting. Prerequisites: CMST course ( CMST 191 - Introduction to Public Speaking , CMST 192 - Introduction to Speech Communication , CMST 266 - Professional Communication Skills  or CMST 296 - Fundamentals of Interviewing ), SOC 150 - Introduction to Sociology , STAT 110 - Fundamentals of Statistics  or ◆ PSY 231 - Statistics , ◆ SOC 376 - Introduction to Social Research , and instructor permission. Grade only. Offered each semester.
