HLA 435 - Quality Improvement in Healthcare

Examine the fundamental concepts of quality improvement (QI) and the role QI has on the quality and safety of health care systems. Includes an examination of advanced topics and analytical tools commonly used. Prerequisites: Admission to HLA program and completion or co-enrollment in HLA 300 - Foundations of Healthcare and Online Learning. Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
