◎ HERS 328 - Behavioral Interventions (3 credits)
Application of theories of behavior change to program planning for the secondary student and adult population. Students utilize a wide range of techniques and strategies for community and secondary health education. Upon successful completion of this course, students will (1) be able to create, develop and write teaching strategies, (2) learn proper presentation skills, and (3) become advocates for the field of health education/promotion. Prerequisites: PHCH, PHEP, PHHA, and PHNU majors: ✽ HERS 204 - Personal & Community Health ; HPST majors: ✽ HERS 204 - Personal & Community Health , HERS 310 - Foundations of Elementary Health Education , and HERS 322 - School Health Education Field Experience ; AT, ERES and ERCR majors: ✽ HERS 204 - Personal & Community Health . Grade only. Offered each semester.
