◎ SOC 378 - Applied Social Research


(3 credits)

This course provides students a hands-on experience in the design, implementation, interpretation, and reporting of an applied social research project. This course focuses on practicing social research methods in a real-world setting. Prerequisites: GOAL 1 completion; SOC 150 - Introduction to Sociology , STAT 110 - Fundamentals of Statistics  or ◆ PSY 231 - Statistics ; ◆ SOC 376 - Introduction to Social Research , or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester).
