STAT 380 - Advanced Statistical Modeling


(3 credits)

This course begins with a review of multiple linear regression models before introducing more advanced statistical models. Advanced methods include generalized linear models, models for correlated data, and Bayesian modeling. Distribution theory and the concept of a likelihood will be introduced. Heavy emphasis on application and model interpretations with graphical representations of model fits and assessment. Prerequisite: △ STAT 360 - Regression Analysis . Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
