MCOM 360 - Advertising Copy Writing


(3 credits)

The creation of effective advertising messages for newspapers, magazines, radio, television, and other mass media. The course emphasizes the writing of advertising copy and the coordination of visual and verbal concepts to achieve advertising objectives. Prerequisite: MCOM 250 - Principles of Strategic Communication  or MCOM 260 - Principles of Advertising . Grade only. Offered fall and spring semesters.
