△ CMST 366 - Communicating in Organizations


(3 credits)

Identify complex communication practices that exist within organizations. Students examine the role of internal and external messages in creating organizational culture and climate and how communication processes affect member socialization, peer relationships, and organizational outcomes. Topics may include motivation, leadership, decision-making, and more. Prerequisite: CMST 191 - Introduction to Public Speaking  or CMST 192 - Introduction to Effective Communication . Grade or P/NC. Offered annually.
