EDUC 429 - Secondary Reading and Teaching Strategies

(3 credits)

Emphasis is on reading comprehension, strategies, and study skills in content areas, lesson planning, lesson presentation skills, and media techniques appropriate to the instructional process. Prerequisites: Admitted to the Teacher Education Program, EDFD 400 - Human Development and Learning: Early Childhood and Elementary, and EDFD 401 - Human Development and Learning: K-12 & 5-12. Grade only. Offered each semester. Course may be retaken once due to student withdrawal or earning less than a C grade.
