MUS 180 - Electronic Music Production (3 credits) Meets GOAL 6 (Fine Arts).
Students will learn to create music by applying basic music theory principles to composition projects in a digital audio workstation. Rhythm, melody, harmony, and form will be examined through creating, performing and responding to electronically produced music in many styles. Meets GOAL 6 (Fine Arts). Some past musical training is helpful. Grade only. Offered at department discretion. Note: Limited to 24 students. Students must purchase their own MIDI keyboard controller.
