NURS 600 - Scientific and Ethical Foundations


(4 credits)

This course provides students the opportunity to critically analyze existing and emerging nursing, science, and ethical theories and concepts for use in nursing practice, education, and research. Research approaches, designs and methods are analyzed.  Emphasis is placed on development of analytic skills for reading and applying research in advanced nursing roles.  Prerequisites: admission to Graduate Nursing Program or instructor permission. Pre/corequisite: STAT 601 - Statistical Methods for Health Care Research . Grade only. Offered fall and spring semesters.
