EL 764 - Director of Special Education Internship I

(3 credits)

Students will engage in leadership and administrative activities under a licensed K-12 Director of Special Education with supervision by the WSU Education Leadership Department. 160 hours of activities will be planned, in advance, to match known inexperience and weakness and to familiarize and challenge the student in the role of K-12 Director of Special Education. Prerequisite: EL 604 - Curriculum Planning, Development, and Diverse Learners or EL 623 - Leadership of Special Programs. P/NC only. Offered each semester as needed.
