MATH 120 - Precalculus

(4 credits) Meets GOAL 4.

A study of topics designed to give students the skills necessary for successful completion of MATH 212 - Calculus I. Emphasis is on equation solving, symbolic/algebraic manipulation, and graphing of rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions. Prerequisite: Qualifying score on the mathematics placement exam or MATH 115 - College Algebra or MATH 112 - Applied Precalculus. Grade or P/NC. Offered each semester.
