STAT 492 - Practicum in Statistics

(1-6 credits)

This experential learning course provides the student with an opportuntity to apply statistical techniques in the field. For each credit hour, a student is expected to spend two hours per week throughout the duration of the semester. Prerequisites: ◎ STAT 395 - Professional Skill Development for Statistics and instructor permission. Grade or P/NC. Offered when demand warrants. Repeatability: (1) No limit on the number of times the course can be repeated. (2) A maximum of 3 credits from STAT 492 is allowed to be applied towards meeting their statistics major requirements. Per Winona State University policy, 16 is maximum number of credits that may be applied toward a BS degree.
