◎ CMST 452 - Topics in Public Communication

(3 credits) Meets GEP Oral Intensive.

This course provides an in-depth study of topics of concern in public communication. Topics vary and have included political communication and the rhetoric of influential women. Prerequisite: CMST 191 - Introduction to Public Speaking or CMST 192 - Introduction to Effective Communication or CMST 266 - Professional Communication Skills or CMST 275 - Communication and Civic Dialogue. Grade or P/NC. Offered annually or when demand warrants. Repeatable up to 6 credits as topics change.
