◎ CME 475 - Design Project I

(3 credits) Meets GEP Oral Intensive.

Develop product from requirements definition through prototype fabrication. Includes definition of product requirements, development of product and tooling design, analysis, definition of fabrication process, development of quality assurance plan, fabrication of prototype, inspection and testing. Work is performed in student teams. Prerequisite: CME 390 - Composites Manufacturing. Grade only. Offered annually.
