ECON 425 - Managerial Economics (3 credits)
Managerial economics is a unique way of thinking about problems, issues, and decisions that managers can face in an organization. This course provides applications of economic theory and related decision-making methods faced by business firms. Close cooperation with an international corporation will give students the real-life experience and opportunity to create their own unique insight into how markets function. The course has been enriched with elements on how to use MS Excel and how to use MS Excel to analyze data needed to make reasoned decisions. Prerequisites: ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics and ECON 202 - Principles of Macroeconomics or instructor permission. Grade or P/NC. Offered at department discretion.
